If you send me something. The contact form asks for a name, an email address and a message, and that is all it asks for. It goes to my inbox. There is no mailing list to be added to, no CRM sequence behind it, and nothing is passed to anybody else. If you text or call instead, I have your number for the same reason anybody has anybody's number.

Measurement. One thing runs on this site: Vercel Speed Insights, which records how fast pages load. It is aggregate, it is cookieless, and it does not build a profile of you. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no visitor identification tool of any kind. There used to be a sales tracker on here that tried to work out which company you were from. It is gone.

Cookies. This site does not set any. That is also why there is no consent banner asking you to agree to them: there was one, it existed to cover the tracker above, and both were removed together.

Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, the way every web host does. The contact form is rate limited by IP so it cannot be used to send bulk mail, which means an address is held briefly in memory and then discarded.

The live weather. The sky on these pages asks Open-Meteo for the current conditions in Stow. It sends the town, not you: the coordinates are fixed in the source and your location is never requested, read, or guessed at.

Asking me to delete it. Email me and I will, and I will tell you when it is done. There is no form for this because there is no system for it to talk to. It is my inbox.
